Here are three cases involving patients suffering with venous stasis ulcers.
The Kalypto NPWT device was set on continuous mode at 80 mmHg. The end point was full wound closure. The portability feature allowed these three patients full mobility while receiving continuous negative pressure therapy.
In addition, the patients were trained and instructed to use a gradient, sequential compression therapy pump for one hour, three times daily. The pressure was set at 40 mmHg to reduce lymphatic overload, venous hypertension, and improve arterial flow.
The Kalypto NPWT Device System accelerates wound healing and the gradient, sequential compression therapy device helps prevent recurrence.

Once complete closure was achieved, the patients as instructed continued using their gradient, sequential compression pumps as part of their maintenance program in preventing recurrence of venous leg ulcers.
