The VENOWAVE is a lightweight, portable device weighing only eight ounces, and is powered by a rechargeable battery system. The device is worn on the calf two inches below the crease of the knee and secured by tightening the Velcro straps. The VENOWAVE can be worn while wearing pants and is so quiet that you cannot hear the device while watching TV or sleeping. 

Every ten seconds the VENOWAVE delivers a wave of therapeutic compression directly to the calf-muscle. Each wave enhances venous and lymphatic drainage which reduces pooling of deoxygenated blood, helps reduce neuromuscular dysfunction, and consequently helps prevent restless leg movements.

The VENOWAVE is approved by the FDA for treating chronic venous insufficiency and various venous disorders. Recommended time for treating restless leg movements                       due to CVI is one to two hours prior to bedtime.

The continuous wave motion mimics calf-muscle function and volumetrically improves venous and lymphatic drainage. Improving blood flow helps reduce the symptoms associated with restless leg movement due to CVI. The VENOWAVE can be worn while walking, sitting, or sleeping. The VENOGARD prevents bedding from getting caught in the device and impeding function.
